Frankfurt German Christmas Market in Birmingham

Its my third consecutive year to visit German Christmas Market in Birmingham, and this year it has been its 12th year that  Birmingham offers a 5 weeks  German market festivity in the heart of the city center. It’s considered the largest authentic German Christmas Market outside Germany and Austria.

Me and Marie met up at the Cheltenham Spa train station and catched the 11:05 train to Birmingham. It’s less than an hour travel, as soon as we reached Birmingham High Street station we headed straight towards the Victoria Square where the german food stalls are. A good time for Bratwurst and gluhwein for lunch hmmm it was yummy.

Come and join me explores over 180 stalls selling christmas gifts, decorations, handmade toys,  delicious German sausage… Frankfurt? Bratwurst anyone  and of course the most ever popular Glühwein! Lets drink and be Merry!

Do you like Christmas Market? Where’s the best place you’ve ever visit?

  1. I’d seen a lot of German stalls at the Christmas Markets in Paris, and loved them. But these are so so much nicer! I hope I get to see them someday!
