Gloucester Victorian Christmas Market

Im not a morning person I always makes sure my alarm is set if I got appointment or important things to do in the morning. It’s Sunday morning and my alarm sets off at 9am and I’m headed to Gloucester for the Christmas Market. I’ve been warned about finding parking space and some roads where block and diverted for these event. So getting there early was a good idea.

This year Gloucester  is  hosting yet another spectacular and magical event that brings Christmas traditions to life in the most colourful ways. Victorian Christmas Market theme is a four-day event that features a bustling with more than 200 stalls from cakes to different sweets, wines, ciders and a whole lot more local produce.
As soon I got to the docks I searched for breakfast, the smell of sausage and onion in the air was so inviting, soon enough I was infront of a sausage stall I ordered sausage with onion in a bun plus hot chocolate with baileys its just perfect. Come along with me and lets Stroll along the different food stalls to fill up your appetites.

As you stroll across the Victorian Market you can hear traditional live music and some entertainment at Victorian Tavern and Street Food corners. At the stage it showcase different performers from a wide range of Victorian musicians, artist, brass bands, choirs. On the day it’s the Victorian singing Christmas carols abit funny and hilarious, but some are good singer and have nice voice.

  1. I have always wanted to go to a Victorian Christmas Market but haven’t had the chance to go to one yet. I think they have one in San Francisco so am hoping to go to it one of these days.
